One thing to note, though - if you buy/source them direct from Rimstock you can get them with the centre bores direct-drilled for a 306, as opposed to many of the sets I've seen on here which seem to use plastic spigot rings. (These can melt on trackdays).________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. ( I think most are made from a hard plastic that will acually burn ( or at least boil)before they melt. I would suspect all the grease will have been burnt from my hub bearings and ball joints before the spigot rings give up ________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |

Last time at Oulton Park, one of the other guys there - Jeffers maybe? - was effing and blinding at his Pro Race 1.2s as the spigots had begun to melt (OK I didn't do a materials analysis myself, but that's what he said had happened) and he couldn't get the wheels off. Mine and Ash's were fine (same wheels, but direct drilled). Just something to keep in mind. ________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Or you could use alloy spigot rings on 73.1 bore wheels (these bad boys won't melt.)________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |
