Had it's shake down at Hullavington airfield, then Stuck a much needed oil cooler on for Castle coombe last friday. Suffering a bit of fuel starvation up avon rise, with less than ¼ tank, so swirl pot is next!! Also need an LSD as it was really spinning up out of the chicanes. ________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |

re-rake, depends whether that's under braking or sideways weight transfer, and what rear dampers you're running.though if it handles fine, leave it as it is, maybe raise the front a little. what's the spec? edit, thats just over avon rise I think? which is where most frotn engined cars get VERY light on the rear end, so I'd not use that pic to gauge rake ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

just noticed your only local yeah looks as if its over avon rise, not the best pic for judging rake. i know some of the saloon cars in the championship lift the rear wheels coming over avon rise with heavy braking. (nick charles 106 does it) ________________________________________ 230 hp 2.1 16v XU 205 rallye on jenveys Project thread here309 3dr K20 Type R |

Fair comment on the picture, have added one on the trailer I think you are right and the front is a bit to low (running spax front struts on standard mounts, and unknown coils) Has 21mm tbs hybrid arb and Gaz gold rear shocks. The car handles quite well, but does go loose at the back in the chicanes. (P.S running your old gearbox, that struggles with 4 to 3rd till the oil heats up.) ________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |

Going to fit a KAZ diff to this car, what is the easiest way to fit it, or does the box need to come out.Fitted spherical top mounts, ( with the half moons bought from this forum) Had to modify the top mounts to allow maximum camber adjustment. Had to use a threaded top hat and half nut to mount the strut into the top mount, as the strut did not have a long enough threaded section. Also machined some alloy spigot rings, after reading that plastic ones can melt on track!! ________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |

eddy_gti6 wrote: Quality build you have there mate Whats next after the brakes? Thanks. Got a high compression engine and some 285 cams to go in next, and will fit my kaaz diff at the same time. Need to sort out the fuel system first though, as I get a bit of fuel starvation if I run much less than 1/3 tank. ________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |

Cracking build Paul In regards to fuel starvation, think this is common with phase 1's as I know Chris Pellowe had issues Are you going to upgrade to phase 2 system (i dont know what is different) or just run a fuel swirl pot? ________________________________________ Chris1999 China Gti6 Supercharged [Fun car] >>Project Thread<< 2000 Bianca 306 Diesel [Work runabout] |

I had heard this about phase 1s so I used a phase 2 tank/pump and fuel lines!!!Will probably fit a swirl pot, using the existing tank and pump, then a walbro type pump after the swirl pot ( like rallyeash has on his 205 build rallyash fuel pump etc ________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |
