What should I look for on the trailing arm shafts in the way of wear?

Pulled some arms off a beam I have and there is slight pitting but its NOT where the bearings sit.

and by slight I mean you need to almost bash yourself in the face with the shaft to see it LOL

but what else should I look for? as they look quite mint to me

Sometimes the needle rollers wear into the shafts leaving small indentions that you can feel with your fingernail (and see), I have a shaft like this although I believe you can get the shaft pressed out, turned 180 degrees and then pressed in again, this leaves the weight of the car bearing on the good part of the shaft,

Probably better to get a new shaft though if the shaft is like this although I see no reason why this would not work, (awaits flaming from beam builders on here
LOL )

stick a picture up, soon tell, but any polishing isn't good really as that's where it starts the indentations, if you catch it where it is polished but has not yet made indentations then as mentioned you can get them turned 180 degrees (pressed out then back in) but if there's play then its a no-go.
