you would swear it was something like a misfire,but it is not misfiring at all and runs sweet . is this fault normal after fitting a lightened flywheel.?
the engine mounts are all ok to
any advice would be helpful

hi guys, since i had changed me clucth and fitted a lighten flywheel i have notice when i start up the engine shake for the first couple of mins.then it is ok.you would swear it was something like a misfire,but it is not misfiring at all and runs sweet . is this fault normal after fitting a lightened flywheel.? the engine mounts are all ok to any advice would be helpful |

no not v power. am using the normal unleaded fuel from shell. |

did you change the thrust bearing? ive had a car in the past where the thrust bearing was starting to go bad and did what yours is doing |

yes i replaced the thrust bearing on it to ,as it is pull type clucth.last i known michael j fox wasnt in the engine bay |

i notice mine does the same, not since changing the flywheel but the whole time, when the car is idling you can see the engine slightly juddering as if theres a miss but its not missing and drives perfect, its been like it since i got the car and since then ive had the head rebuilt and ne t-belt anadd but no difference before or after so i just put it down to one of the characteristics of these engines ________________________________________ IF YOU CAN READ THIS IM STILL IN 5TH!!! |
