What system are the boosted boys running, thinking of removing my center section and getting a straight through pipe welded in its place.Can i expect any increase in performance and i'm assuming my exhaust will increase in volume and start poppling and banging a bit. Will it be unbearable or OK? Currently running a de-cat as well ________________________________________ |

Ive just fitted a straight through cat back system on mine today with a 4 inch magnex. It is mighty loud i must say. i had a magnes decat, and a scorpion cat back. it was loud and raspy when i removed the center box. used to pop and back every time i hit 4k flames all the time. noticed torque was deffinatly lost but about 4k it really started to pull hard. so it must have given me a fair bit of high end gain. this was the only mod done to my old 6 and i would run a 14.5 second quarters at pod.________________________________________ ph3 gti-6 china blue- mint conditionph2 gti-6 nile blue K.I.A dec 2010 |
