i have had inlet off loads recently. you need all mani bolts and nuts off, then there are two hidden undernath -see FAQ. Then there are all the sensors and hoses

Old thread sorry guys! At least I'm using search LOL I could've sworn I'd seen a guide somewhere on how to remove the inlet manifold and cam covers but I can't find it now.

I'm wanting to clean mine up and paint them, which obviously is easier when it's off the car! But I can't find the guide now. If anyone has the link please let me know, or if anyone could throw together a quick (in depth and step by step) guide on how to get it off?

(I'm a novice!)

Cheers in advance. Will repay with rep and eternal love Thumbs up

Cam covers - remove the cap head screws holding them on. The rear has the manifold heat shield attached to it.

Inlet wise, you've got the nuts and bolts you can see from around the flange/injector area, the dipstick to unbolt from it and then the support brackets below which you'll get to between the inlet and radiator.

Cheers mate. What about the big below the manifold, with the bits that stick up thru the manifold ?
