What are people using in between a standard cat and a magnex center section, I have a D clamp but no luck, only get a few Miles and the f*ckers blowing? any tips would be great.

The standard Peugeot clamp is what you want for that.

Well jacked the car up, had look around while the engine running, and to be honest its more of a rattle tin sound, so more than likely its to be a f*cked middle section am i right

It may well be the middle section but also check the joint between manifold and cat, the bolts have springs which if loose could be the rattle you are hearing and it is quite common for them to be blowing from that join.
