China looks sooo sooo nice when clean under a petrol station light and night. dont know why but the colour really comes out

That's what I'm talking about, standard ftw. A new set of fogs and she would be perfect.
If you are going to alter one I think all the shiney bits like the crystals, silver wheels and bonnet badge need to be kept, it compliments the colour Imo where as dark versions of the above parts seem to make it look a bit dull and dirty.

I see what your saying I just have a weird hatred towards chrome LOL

Even dull and dirty in these pictures?

It's the shiny 6 picture I've ever seen! Must of been perfect light/sunshine, if I say so myself.

Those pictures kind of highlight what I'm getting at.
The paint is stunning but the headlights look like they are f*cked, badge looks like it's missing at a glance and wheels dont look shiny compared to the car.

Oh whoops I just remembered I was meant to be at the last one. I was defiantly going until my nightmare of a track rod end job. See my project thread, stopped me right in my tracks from going but as the site was down I couldnt let anybody know.

I'll come to the next one.

I've had mine about a year now and only last night noticed that it goes purple in certain lights. i've never seen it before, it looked awesome! It has to be the best colour for a 306.

purple you say!!..... i had a few bit painted on mine when i first got it and the paint wasnt mixed properly which left them like this.

I did get a 2nd bodyshop to do it properly in the end but it did look strange for a few weeks.

there is a small hint of purple in there but you have to get it in the sun at the right angle to see it. i agree though, its a really nice colour. suits the car really well.
