i have been looking through some threads and noticed most of the bigger kits, 310mm and 330mm both use grooved discs. may well try themany thoughts on best pads aswell? i have been looking at red stuff pads but ther expensive at £122 ________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

Have a look at Dennis's thread on his rallye, he's tried most pads, for Track work i'd recommend CL RC 6's but i suppose if cost is an issue they may be a bit much, also IMO £122 for redstuff.... don't even go there i'm pretty sure there's better out there for your money! ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! yeah but the brake dust off carbon lorraines is scary alien rust blood that welds itself to the sides me the car. when i was running 406 brembos i found pagid rs4 blue very good, but not the cheapest and didn't help with squeal (though not as bad as ds2500). Now i'm on the renaultsport brembo i'm impressed with mintex f6r. Apparently the new ebc blue that people are testing are very good too.________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. Agreed with the brake dust off the cl's but it's a track car so it never bothered me, but that's why I said to look at dennis's thread!________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! iirc welly had drilled/grooved discs and it still squeakedim using Motoquip discs (288mm xantia V6 discs) with DS2500 and they squeek a little, not so bad on hard braking to be honest mate i found it totally random over the years with my brembos sometimes they would be quiet for months.... then after a good bit of use start squealing like a tart ________________________________________ TEAM HIGH BOOST SUPERCHARGED RALLYEMy Rallye project thread |

I run Tarox G88's, and mine still squeal sometimes but nothing like the standard discs did. ________________________________________ Membership expiring soon, get in contact on our new little forum project. |

mine are fine when breaking at speed, its just when creeping round town and sitting in traffic realy just slow driving in general. when i fitted them they were fine for a few month and ever since then they have been shouting at me ever since.the warped disk isnt helping at all tho but that is the reason for this thread to try find the best disc to go with. ________________________________________ Clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |
