Hi there recently Ive just had, bilstien b8 dampers with eibach pro kits 40 mm lowering springs fitted. There are fine on a fast road but on slow driving when I hit a bump ie; pot hole or speed bump there s a knock coming from them. I was just wondering if anyone would know what it would be many thanks. |

Is it a light knock or a loud bang? With the Eibach springs you need to use the standard bump stops or the springs will bottom out.A light knock could be a drop link as said. ________________________________________ Rich |

My money's on the drop links if you've not used new when fitting the dampers, i find once they've been disturbed they tend to knock! ________________________________________ Team Running Engine again!Team Negative Camber! My Budget track engine build thread! Now appearing at a Trackday near you!! |

It's more of a loud bang it said on the instructions of the damper that it had bump stops fitted with bumpstops in |

Still think it could be the drop links. They can make quite a loud knocking. Id either buy some new ones (they are cheap) or go for a short steady drive without them on and see if the noise goes.Did you replace the top mounts when you changed the springs over? As these can also cause a banging noise. ________________________________________ Cherry Red 306 HDIChampionship White Integra DC5 Type R |

Could be a loose balljoint into the hub or maybe the top nut on the shock isn't tight enough.________________________________________ Nothing to see here |
