Ok did a DIY test today, but having just read other threads I think I may have done it incorrectly! Unsure

Anyway from the cambelt end the results were:
1=150
2=140
3=140
4=160

What I think I did wrong was doing it when the car was cold, and not on WOT, I just started the car and let it idle for a few seconds!

So at first I thought these were terrible results, but maybe not if my method was wrong!

Any advice on this? Also used a tester which had a flexible hose so couldn't tighten it up as much as it probably should have been!? Unsure

Probably about right for a closed throttle, you're not actually supposed to start and idle the car though LOL

Your meant to just turn the car over untill you get the highest reading. Throttle has to be open fully as well to get a good result.

It wasn't mine, a work mate brought his tester in, so not sure.

Think I'll need to do it again! Do you take out one plug at a time or all of them when doing the test?

Thanks for helping with my dunce-ness!
