Right i cant mind if i will get away with a 2 ¼" exhaust or does it have to be 2 ½" bore?

Im thinking of one that miles can supply as will meet all track day regs.

Chris

Its likely to only be up to trackday limits if you stick n/a, best to ask Miles, he can get one in 2.5" if you need it afaik but it will cost more as the pipe costs more.

I was thiking to meet the noise regs will be almost in possible but maniflow seem to think they can do it pretty easily so thts go enough for me. The bloke Miles uses actually does the esxhausts for maniflow so he will be cheaper and they should be spot on.
And I think he was talking about 2 2¼ inch pipes like on some of the old touring cars (i think thats what he said i kinda wasnt paying attention)

the place where miles gets his exhausts made are spot on. they made me an exhaust up in 2.5" recently. they made it on the carSmile
he is ex maniflow anyway.

maniflow may say they can get under the db without a problem but a few people i know who have had one made there have either, taken it back after not being allowed on track, or fitted a different backbox!

that was with just a shitty tester tho close by, i got pulled up at knockhill for the fly by noise lol, everyone thought it was a civic type r coming up the main straight (foggy) but was told that if it was to be any louder may get pulled, been loads after then nothing been said, but just i dont want to make a trip to FCS an not be allowed on track due to noise!
