hi everyone,
im having trouble finding the idle control valve (stepper motor) on my 1.6 306 glx 1997.
i need to clean this part to help with stalling from low idling and rough idling, everything else on the car been checked just need to find this part,
if anyone has a pic of this in the engine bay or could explain where by i would find this part i would be very gratefull

thanks for the quick reply, so from what i can see it is bolted into the lower part of the throttle body. is there any tips on cleaning or is cleaning bad for it

That picture is a lifesaver and must have helped so many members in the past (as long as you own a 6 Whistle )

Clean the throttle body with carb cleaner and soft rag.

hi thanks for the help ffound the iacv cleaned it worked fine, started sezing u again so got a new one on the way from peugoet in cardiff £165
