which exhaust would you recommend for a 306 Rallye to sound like 306 maxi evo 2 ? or nearly like one

its the engine that makes the difference not the exhaust Thumbs up

thats why i sad "nearly" heard some good GTi's with groupe N exhausts, but they aren't allowed in Germany

I guess you need TUV approval, in which case I don't think anything from the UK market will have that.

i am pretty sure it aint nothing special . when they used to list maxi parts on peugeot boutique , it was a magnex system, think the fannimold is a bit of art but the system is ....or was a magnex

nothing off the shelf, struggling to find any pictures but it has VERY long secondary pipe lengths, well past half the length of the car IIRC.

I know its a bit off topic. But its somethign i wanted to ask as that pic is there. What exactly does that spoiler attach to...? Is it on top of the standard small spoiler, or onto the actual bootlid itself at the top there?

To the top of the boot lid. The Maxi's didn't have the standard plastic spoiler fitted.

The exhaust looks quite similar to the one on the BTCC cars.

so i was wrong, that looks a bit different doesnt it!!
i remember seeing a section of pipe that split into 2 on the peugeot boutiqe but think it was an s16 decat.
i got under the maxi at pugfest ....or laid along side it and am sure it was a single pipe underneath. may have been something temporary
