sure ive seen somethign on here about it dude, use the search. pretty straight forward though to be honnest. remover the badge, rub down to take the shine out and key for paint. few coats of primer, few of top coat, laquer if needed. job done. halfords cheapy stuff i used and worked very well. i sprayed mine black and then you start noticing the stones chips and dinks ________________________________________ ph3 gti-6 china blue- mint conditionph2 gti-6 nile blue K.I.A dec 2010 |

De-badging is not a DIY job, needs metal welding in then decent filler work etc to get correct shape Then after all that they look w*nk anyway!!! ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

i went a bit furhter than that on the 406, but then again on the coupe the badge is solidso i stripped it all down, got a sheet of pre preg carbon fibre, cut it to shape, drilled a couple of holes and made this ![]() orginaly it was just a plain black back ground which alot of people spray body color, i like to be a bit different, the rear badge is getting the same treatment |

now that is cool! I have a couple of ideas in mind but will see i think at the moment i'm thinking more a smooth de-badged look. I want mine to be different to the crowd. ![]() ________________________________________ now a very happy an proud GTi6 owner!![]() TEAM: Blaze phase 2 TEAM: Off the road for now ![]() Nimrods going up 4 sale will be available in the next week! To be different I've left mine standard but drilled holes in all the honeycomb then cut the mounting on the bonnet hoping it'll feed the SC with some cold air.________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |
