Have fitted a replacement (genuine) bumper to the gti but it just dosnt sit rightit seems to be too far forward on the o/s
the n/s seems to have a large panel gap
the o/s wing is not genuine but it shouldnt affect bumper fitting
when removing my slam panel i snapped the thread on this bolt pictured here ((the one he isnt pointing to))
(pic stolen from off here)
so admitedly my slam panel is sitting slightly out on one side
if i drill that bolt out and replace it with a new one so the slam panel sits nicely do you think i should have a nicely fitted bumper again
also the o/s wing seems to sit slightly lower then the bonnet
