Yes its a very rare beast Cool

and yes its proper! not an xsi with the manifolds lol..... and bodged up bits holding the coil packs inLOL LOL LOL


had no work on today so i fitted a new engine mount and wilst i was at changed the timing belt.


gti 6 front suspension,and ebc discs and ds2500 pads.


this morning when i got to work in the snow Big grin


jetex exhaust puffing away in the coldBig grin

Just finished converting my 1.4 meridian estate to full gti 6 spec,front and rear suspension,gearbox,engine,brakes every thing has been transfered over.

I have fitted a jetex exhaust(gti 6 fitment mondified 2 fit),ebc brake discs to the front with ferodo sport pads rich w roller bearing wishbones, solid rear beam mounts,polybush lower engine mount standard cyclone alloys with p6000's all round,white led sidelights,hid diped beam bulbs,and i have working air-conBig grin (i modified the original 1.4 compressor and pipes to fit Big grin

next i will be saving up for low boost s/c conversion.

thats ace, i was wanting an HDI wagon, but ended up with a D turbo s 3dr instead lol.

But a GTi6 wagon would be perfet, a low boost one be good lol, wait till russ sees this, the rallye may be off the road for good an he will have a boosted wagon haha

awesome mate love it i was thinking of doing the same after seeing a grey one on pistonheads but i just don't have the time! Whats it perform an drive like? ace the mutts nuts!

    Drives like the old gti6 did just got a bit more weight behind the back wheels helps with the lift off oversteer LOL

    SHOULD I SELL OR SHOULD I KEEP NOT SURE Unsure

    cost of petrol is a killer now and i have to travel further to work! no longer walking distance!any one interested let me know. plz no stupid offers as i would sooner keep it than sell up for silly money lol

    still going strong got the arse with aftermarket cat! aircon is going strong, just need 21mm rear bars and new rear shocks 120567 miles and counting owe the clutch went 2 months! ago but it still got me home 40 miles 100% reliable 90% of the time.i'll live with the fuel bill as the smile factor just blows me away,next stop nurburg ring see if i can beat my 8min30 second toll to bridge lap i done in my 197 cupBig grin
