Received mine yesterday thanks Mabz. Nice bit of kit, little bit unsure how to wire it to the ecu so would also be interested in a guide?________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |

I read the instructions, seemed pretty simple to me, there's only 3 wires to connect up in most applications, the 4th is unused by many.http://www.aemelectronics.com/Images/Products/Installation%20Instructions%2030-4100.pdf ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Mab should be able to sort you out.Does anyone see any issues with replacing the standard lambdas heater with a resistor and using the output from the aem. ________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

So the White wire just goes to the source wire that the old lambda uses? Any ideas which wire this is?________________________________________ Phase 2 Blaze GTi 6 (Standard) SoldPhase 3 Supercharged China GTi 6 (249.8 BHP) Sold Phase 3 Supercharged Diablo GTi 6 (443 BHP)Sold Nissan 350Z (300 BHP) |

Actually, I only wanted to ask a question that occured to me over xmas, but I didn't want to derail the thread.. ![]() I see a few of the supercharged boys have bought one, I'm just wondering how you would use this? I know it's a very common thing to have on tuned cars.. I've had my car rolling roaded and I now know the AFR is spot on. OK I know some of the guys have got slightly shakier AFR due to running the later, larger inlet restrictor rings.. would be useful to find out the once, but beyond that..? Other than giving me something (new) to worry about, how else can I use it? If I did find it was running lean, what can I do with the information at the roadside? Presumably only thing I could do would be to book it in with Wayne Schofield for a remap? I guess if you had a programmable ECU it would be different. And/or an expensive engine build like a high-boost. God knows I love my shiny things and flashing lights and dials ![]() C'mon, sell me! ![]() ________________________________________ Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch....Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. gives you earlier indication if say and injector was failing, or a fuel pump, or boost leak etc, running rich can be as bad as running lean.further than that only really useful if you wanted to map it yourself, though does help a mapper keep an eye on AFR's, and as they switch much faster than the o.e lambda theory would suggest they'd give better fuel economy if mapped appropriately. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Basicly you can back off the throttle the instant you see a problem, giving you time to find and fix the issue before it costs you an engine (Thats why most of the highly tuned engine boys seem to have one)I'll be fitting one to my car as soon as it's ready to go. Hmm I didn't thin of that, surely the heater has a specific resistance. Remember that you'd be trying to power the gauge and lambda off the ECU.________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

Even on std management it helps for you to understand your throttle position, fuelling, mpg etc etcAs it replaces the OE one its a worthy investment. I've seen guys fit induction kits and lean out their STD management at WOT.. So its more for peace of mind and it looks uber cool too ![]() ________________________________________ Team Supercharged Gti-6NV Motorsport Automotive Performance Tuning 0121 448 7515 ECU Remapping/ DPF removal VAG/BMW Diag and Option Coding Peugeot Planet ECU coding/transponder programming etc www.nvmotorsport.com Facebook Page Project S6 |

nope, the 12v power comes from the double relay or a straight ignition switched feed.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
