having had a full set of rainsport 2'sand being VERY impressed by the grip and quite disappointed by the life span of the fronts (about 5k miles....)

im wondering what to try next? im only going to be buying the fronts as the rears are still fine

what would you recommend? £40ish budget
195/50/15s

Avon ZV3 £40.06

rainsport 2 £35.10

falken ZE912 £31.96

stretch up to vredstein sportrac 3 £44.10

toyo proxes PX4 £35.50

toyo proxes T1R £29.10

what are the cooper tyres like? cooper zeon XTC £41.30

pirrelli p6000? Whistle

any others you would recommend? Smile

or if you stretch to £50 ish a tyre then you can get Michelin PE2's.

I liked the T1-R's. Found them to be very grippy in wet and dry. The fronts only lasted about 6K miles on my 6 but at £30 a corner it doesnt really matter.

my rs2's have done 3k miles now and still look new! You running high boost or something? LOL

My Falkens have been on for around 2-3k and look like new as well, not sure what you get upto in yours mind...

sorry ive never done the whole 'maddy D's' thing.... and i dont believe ive done a wheel spin on purpose since i got the tyres, not on tarmac anyway Smile

i just drive country roads all the time and i really enjoy them... Big grin
only the NS front is really low, OS isnt too bad but getting bad, im guessing due to roundabouts, not that i take them overly fast though :S

i was on my phone at the time, hence not doing a search, i'll have a look now
