Done abit to my beam thats in bits while Evo parts were being powder coated.

Got a pair of new arm shafts,and a pair of Xsara VTS TB's.

De-rusted and cleaned up:




Added some grease nipples:


All painted up after two coats of Rust Bullet:


Bolts/brackets etc nickel plated or powder coated:


Also cleaned up my spare WB's ready for the RichW roller bearing bushes:

Did you paint those beam mounts - they're shiny as they come from Pug aren't they? I was going to do the same to the new ones I'm ordering on Mon.

Standard are plated finish aren't they?

These have been painted,as they are solid onesWink

Got my wishbones built upThumbs up

Had to get the inner bearing race tacked onto wishbone,you could slide it on and off wishbone by hand.

Fitted new balljoints tooYes

Got the front Konis fitted,along with new strut top bearings and fitted my roller bearing wishbonesThumbs up

Also replaced both outer CV boots as they were just starting to leak slightly.

Handling now is really tightCool

Not done alot to the Rallye for a while,its ran spot on over winterCool

Fitted some of the gen Pug plugs off here and it runs smoother than it did on NGK'sThumbs up

Got some new wheels to fit so thought would give it a spring cleanSmile

Also greased up the Roller bearing WB bushes and the rear beam .

Slight surface rust on some bolts,but it is a daily driver so was expecting this,paint is intact though and no signs of rust stains etc on any of itBig grin











Oh yeah the only other change is I fitted a Scorpion exhaust,the Magnex got right on my nervesYes
