Right then, my gti6 has failed its MOT on front shock absorbers and a balljoint.

As my car is now being used as a weekend car (track days next year) I am making the move to coilovers.

The question I have is, while I fit the coilovers and replace ball joints, is there anything else I should change while I am there?

Droplinks have been done not so long ago, so was thinking about Powerflex wishbone bushes etc?

Any advice welcome, although I will say due to spending on other things, the likes of roller bearing wishbone bushes and other tarty things should be left.

Cheers Smile

Personally i'd do the drop links again, as i've found in the past once they've been disturbed they can start knocking.... maybe some spoox or rich w P bushes too!

To be honest mate, I am happy to go with standard/poly bushes and see how I get on. Then maybe next year change it again and go for Rich_W bushes etc etc.

Poly are pointless - go for proper standard.
Track rod ends and rack gaitors.
Beam mounts...?

Thats good enough for me mate Yes

When you say beam mounts, you mean rear beam? If so, they have already been changed to stiffer mounts. Will probably change to solid mounts next year if/when I get a hybrid ARB Yes
