The dreaded mid-box appears to be getting worse by the day, had it welded a couple of times but it just keeps blowing through again.

What's my options do you think? Am not in the market for a whole exhaust, and don't want to try another Magnex. Thinking of getting a specialist to replace the centre box with a slightly smaller/different shape midbox to stop it scraping. Ideally want it to pop and fizz a bit but won't be fitting a straight through as that could end up deafening, any suggestions for baffling and box size? And rough cost?

Currently have 2.5" decat back with 3" tip.
