not quite sure what section to put this in, brakes/suspension/transmission etc but here goes.

my brother has a w reg 106 quicksilver with rear hubs. last week the n/s/r wheel bearing collapsed.

i have taken off the hub and removed most of the old bearing but i cant get a straight answer from anyone if the new bearing needs pressing in the hub or not.

been on 106 owners and some have tapped it in, some have had it pressed. thought i would ask as some of you have had 106's / saxo's and lesser model 306's etc.

Pressing needs. But I suggest to you complete change of brand new wheel hub incl bearings. At my mate car offical peugeot dealers service changed bearing via pressing. But after 2 month it fail again. They are changed complete wheel hub incl bearings.

100% need a press to do it without damaging the bearing.
