Hi all,
I've got Tar-ox calipers - B32-6 and i would like to fit them on a 302X26mm 307 XSI discs.
The thing is that the calipers were designed for a 22mm disc thickness.
In tarox site they say they supply the calipers after telling them the disc thickness and that the B32-6 caliper can hold 10-30mm thickness.
My questions are:
1 - how do they change the caliper gap for the disc thickness? do they machine the caliper to be with less gap?
2 - is it safe to space the calipers 4mm to get the 26mm discs fitted?
Cheers

Usually they fit a spacer between the two caliper halves.

Thats what i reckon. In my caliper there are no spacers, probably because its the minimum required for 22mm disc.
I was just wondering if its safe to make such a spacer myself.

Maybe Tarox has those ready and will agree to sell them. But i doubt it.
