I've had a search but couldnt find anything, is it possible to order just the bit pictured below from peugeot? I cant be arsed with the ball ache of removing the whole Assy as thats all ok, so thought if I could just stick a new badge on it, that would do the trick. Thanks |

Looks like that's the whole Assy which is a bit of a pain, might try to make a replacement if I can't get the badge bit on it's own... Or maybe I'll stroll round the scrappy tomorrow to try my luck! Thanks for checking it out Craig |

Can you still get this version of the badge? Bit of a random question but i ordered one from Pug (£23+vat) and even though i gave my reg number over it came back with a badge where the lion is flush (8726H3) not sticking out like the above! Didnt notice until i put it on that it was different A tip is to remove the wiper motor as i struggled with it in place, hence why i didnt take it back! ________________________________________ |

I dont need to replace the whole thing which is annoying which is why I'm now trying to think of other things I could do for it, unfortunately experimenting with the badge I've taken off and a touch up set hasn't gone well and its a goner! ha ha! Any ideas lads??? |

hudson603 wrote: So got it to this stage but god knows what to do with it now!! Make a colage of docrs, nurses, and patients around the lion? Just mask the lion, then respray the rest. It might be easier to spray the whole thing, then get a very fine sandpaper/micromesh, then rub off the paint from the lion to reveal the chrome again ________________________________________ My Pugrun 2007/2009 video clipsTake a look Pugrun 2007...Lose yourself Xbox Live ID: Marksixysix (Forza 3, Forza 4 PES 2010, COD 6/MW2, WRC 2010). Knew I should've been more careful with the location of the photo! The problem with respraying is that the marks you can see around the lion is actually where the metal has pitted?? not sure if thats the right term but I think if I spray it you will still be able to see the little blemishes... |

I thought I would say it before someone else did Could use some putty filler first if the pitting is deeper. If it's higher than the metal, then will just need smoothing off a bit more. But yes your right, the better the prep, the better the finish will be ________________________________________ My Pugrun 2007/2009 video clipsTake a look Pugrun 2007...Lose yourself Xbox Live ID: Marksixysix (Forza 3, Forza 4 PES 2010, COD 6/MW2, WRC 2010). Looks alright that Can still see the imperfections in the pic but won't notice when on the car. Is that Astor btw? As for sticking back on, double sided pads, glue, no nails I use this double sided tape I got off fleabay that is nice and thin and stupidly strong. Works really well for this kind of thing as long as it's a flat surface ________________________________________ My Pugrun 2007/2009 video clipsTake a look Pugrun 2007...Lose yourself Xbox Live ID: Marksixysix (Forza 3, Forza 4 PES 2010, COD 6/MW2, WRC 2010). It's Ford Graphite Grey actually, yeah you can still see them but I'm happy with it. I thought about some kind of sticky tape but the bit it needs to be stuck on is uneven and not sure it would work! |

Not sure if this would interest you as you seem to have things in order, so Just a heads up! The badge shown is for a 106 but I know someone who had one made up for a 306 to his own specification from this website...clickyI believe the price for the 106 one to be about £7 posted so 306 one may be a bit more. ________________________________________ I Live for the 306TEAM CHERRY PINK RALLYE 2008 BMW ///M 320d |

how did you take off the badge?can you do it without breaking stuff? i only ask as if it was easy i would buy the whole thing of peugeot then take off the new badge and put it in the old assembly thing. But if its harder than that im not sure i can be bothered, my badge is in a similar condition to what yours was see. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |
