Thinking of moving the battery to the rear passenger footwell this weekend.

By my reckoning, I need:

- FG battery box (demon tweeks looks like it sells one that fits my bosch silvertop)
- a new earth lead from -ve lead in engine bay to body/gearbox and one from battery to body in the cabin.
- Fat power cable from existing +ve cable in engine bay to +ve pole on battery (does anybody do an adaptor to keep the existing connector or should I just cut & splice? Was thinking it'd be handy to keep the changes easily reversible)
Right? Unsure

However, I need somewhere that sells suitable automotive power cable.. and one that can deliver quickly. CBS (who I've used before and are reliable) sells this stuff, is it big enough (it's bigger than the cable Demon Tweeks sell) or do I need to go to 0awg?

Any help gratefully received Thumbs up

have you tried asking mr swampy s16?

He sold me cabling so that should I ever get a dead battery I can just pop the cables out from behind the front bumper

maybe worth a shot? Dunno

That stuff is fine, though you could drop down to 135 amp cable.
You will also need a good soldering iron and / or a set of heavy duty terminal crimpers
