What are the symptoms for this? I suspect mine maybe suffering. Is it possible to run the engine without the cam covers on to inspect or will oil p*ss all over the place? ________________________________________ Team Peugeot Sport 308 GtiBlack T'99 Gti - may she rest in peace - written off in a shunt on the A329m |

If oil does not p*ss all over the place, the you definately have a problem.Even with just the oil filler cap removed and engine at tick over, you should get oil all over the place. ________________________________________ L reg "black and blue" phase 1 track 6 |

starvation isnt too common on the 6 with good pump and sump design. But if you are worried check you oil level and check for leaks first off.. common place is behind the flywheel and rear cam cover..________________________________________ Team Supercharged Gti-6NV Motorsport Automotive Performance Tuning 0121 448 7515 ECU Remapping/ DPF removal VAG/BMW Diag and Option Coding Peugeot Planet ECU coding/transponder programming etc www.nvmotorsport.com Facebook Page Project S6 |

had a similar problem with my 6... common for the one way valve in the head to get clogged up causing severe oil starvation to top end... i ran mine briefly with the cam covers removed and had no oil hardly coming out the spray bars at all.try that 1st, check the spray bars if not your looking at head off unfortunatley |
