Does anyone know what thread size the original Xsi oil pressure sensors are, or if there is an altenative from another car, that fits the 6 block

If it's a P1, does it not already have an oil pressure sensor?

thread size is 16 x 1.5. Phase 1 xsi oil pressure sensor fits in the gti6 block so you'll be fine

Thanks for the thread size.
I don't have the xsi sensor, and they seam mega rare, I was wondering if sensors of other models/makes fit the gti6 block.

They were forund on phase 1 xsi, s16 + gti6, 405 2.0 mi16 and 806 with the xu10j4r engine

If you are desperate for one then buy one from peugeot as they are still available, part no. 1131 71, but they are £115!
