Is anyone running one of this size??
How do you find it - too small? spot on?

personally id say theyre a tad too small, but i spose it depends on steering rack and such.

the omp standard size are 350mm (which i find nice) but i dont think its going to make a huge difference.

yeah, my thoughts were that its a nats on the small size.

Another question for aftermarket wheel users - whats the deal with the boss and whether its NON AIR bag or not?

Presumably the boss is there simply the bring the wheel out to an appropriate distance and perhaps convert the the correct fixing?

But the airbag thing? surely by their nature they're all 'non airbag'??

i had a 300mm sparco (300sn) suede jobbie in mine, was very nice and i didn't think it was too small. i did end up buying another though, which incidentally was 350mm and it's a lot better especially considering i have no PAS. the smaller wheel was a bit hard work without PAS but it's down to personal choice. the smaller one was brilliant, felt like a right go kart LOL

how big is the standard wheel?

I love the Momo wooden wheel that's in my 309 Goodwood Big grin

that is a tad smaller and less cumbersome than the original wheel too Smile

As far as airbag compatability is concerned I think it's to do with the airbag ring connector, but I had to bin mine anyway because the boss kit I bought wouldn't allow for it.

I got this one from Rally Design last month:

350mm, feels spot on. Smaller and tighter than the 370mm standard one but not ridiculously small

330 in mine and it feels spot on, especially when trying to manouver at low speeds, deep dish too for better driving position, mines 90mm and I'd still prefer it closer.

Davey what about a snap-off boss kit? Should add an extra 20-30mm to the dish?

To echo what Rikky said, I had a 300mm wheel in my 106 Rallye. It wasn't bad, and added to the go kart feel, but I too changed it for a 350mm which I do prefer (again, got no PAS).

I've just bought a new 350mm with touring car snap on boss for my new project. I'm sure there will be some pictures soon!
