What's the difference between a straight through and a magnex middle section. Power gain differences flow and sound?

Erm the difference is;
The magnex has a midbox, the straightthrough doesn't..
The magnex will be quieter because of the box.
The magnex will be heavier because of the box.
The straightthrough will flow better without the box.

Realy it's upto you, people say that running and exhaust with no cat or midbox can effect performance but I run that setup an have no problems, although it's bloody loud.

debatable whether it'll flow better or not with a piece of pipe instead of a silencer.
