these coilovers have proved to be nothing but a pain in the arse,..

when they originally came, the mount that sits between the standard bearing and the top of the spring was a totally wrong fitment

I gave Gaz a ring they sent me a top mount (hat) he called it perfect fit for the bearing case but
to suit a coilover spring ID 2.25 (now I get a horrible rattle with the play of the spring)

I need one to suit a 2.5" spring

does anyone know if Gaz also do the 2.5" version
for the 306

or indeed any other coilover companys that can supply the top mount locator for a 2.5" ID Spring?

Koni Sportsline that originally made the shocks where of no help Dry

I hope this is clear enough LOL

What size is bearing they have to fit into?
I've a load of 2.5" top spring mounts I made up here for the Fox shocks but I don't know if there's enough material to machine them to fit (they sit around the bearing on the Foxes, rather than in them)

the lip from that sits inside the top of Coilover hat
and the collier from the hat sits inside the spring

Thanks Adam i'll give him a shout Friday
Failing that

Phil I have a spare one of those I could drop round while in your neck of the woods?

Ah, thought you had spherical bearing top mounts - there's not enough material on these to machine them to fit a standard one.
If you can't get any let me know and I'll see if I can get you a couple made.
