Is it possible to get valve guides from anywhere except Pug/Citroen?Smile
Got a head in the engineering shop and he says hes tried all his suppliers and none of them list guides for the Gti6Crazy

I don't know to be honest, Miles has a preferred engine builder that does most of his work I believe.

The valves were TRW and readily available, but not sure on the guides, I know Guy Croft makes guides to spec as and when required, I think Daveyboy may have had a few new guides when Guy did some work on his head.

Miles does not sell these,PM'ed him Sad

Eng shop reckons he can get race-spec ones from Cosworth,so looks like its either them or PugHuh?

Really needs to be done by a specialist, if the head galls at all when the old guides ar removed it can be a bit of a nightmare getting the new guides in dead centre, which then causes issues with the seat grind as peugeot valve seats are hard as nails.

Rich does not supply them,he says they usaully 'k-line' guides,not replace them.

Probably be about that to have him make them, ask and see!
Tbh, I'd probably send it down to Rich for the K-line liners fitted myself, good quality parts with a good reputation.
