Is it possible to get valve guides from anywhere except Pug/Citroen? Got a head in the engineering shop and he says hes tried all his suppliers and none of them list guides for the Gti6  ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

I don't know to be honest, Miles has a preferred engine builder that does most of his work I believe.The valves were TRW and readily available, but not sure on the guides, I know Guy Croft makes guides to spec as and when required, I think Daveyboy may have had a few new guides when Guy did some work on his head. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Can't he just machine some up?  ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Half cages right up to complete custom spaceframes - MSA/FIA spec, CDS, ROPT, T45, etc - PM meEmail me! Custom-made polybushes available - need an odd size or fitment? - anything from batch work to one-off pieces. |

Really needs to be done by a specialist, if the head galls at all when the old guides ar removed it can be a bit of a nightmare getting the new guides in dead centre, which then causes issues with the seat grind as peugeot valve seats are hard as nails. ________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies.
