Are the Xsara ones any different (longer) or is it just a slight GEO difference on the front end.

Not sure if anyone got to the bottom of it.

I can remember we went through this, but not exactly the outcome LOL
IIRC the Xsara wishbones worked out at the same length.

TBH, I gave up looking as soon as I'd made some LOL

what Phill said, there are some cast ones on late xsara's and the vans, but the same track and driveshafts.

Phill makes some shiny ones Smile

Wouldn't be too hard to change the balljoint mount to make it longer there, but then you've got shaft issues.

on the Motaquip ECAT there is only two variations on the wishbones of the vehicles that shared a 306 subframe (Xsara Picasso, Xsara, Berlingo/Partner, ZX)

VSA 914/915 is the pressed steel arms, standard type bushes, no balljoint included.

VSA 916/917 is the cast version, with balljoint included, no separate balljoint listed, cylindrical rear bush in an alloy housing shown, but not listed as a spare, front bush appears same as pressed steel type.

standard P-bush steel casing type listed as a spare part (VSK 624) same front bushes (VSK 623)

the cast ones might be stiffer and a better rear bushing (never seen one in the metal though) my concern would be the lack of replaceable balljoint.

No worse than a 205 thou,
It's easy to have them made, just cheaper to obtain them from other cars

there is that yeah LOL

If there's no significant difference in how they perform though I'll stick to an £18.50 wishbone and a £6.30 bj than a £50 wishbone!
