Just wondering if i should be using exhaust paste where the pipes meet or if the exhaust clamp is ok on its own?
Cheers

Just in the midst of fitting a Scorpion backbox to standard pug centre pipe. Just wondering if i should be using exhaust paste where the pipes meet or if the exhaust clamp is ok on its own? You'll need an o ring if you haven't got one already... and shit loads of Firegum if it fits anything like mine did! ________________________________________ Black Rallye |

Does it matter if i just use the clamp as thats all i have? with a tube of exhaust paste too. Cheers ________________________________________ ''Oh, it does handle like a golf!'' It won't hold together correctly without the O ring. Most exhaust places should have them.________________________________________ Rich |

Just noticed with the clamp its blowing out the sides a little. Guna drop in a local garage now and see if they can seal it. Lovely looking back box though. And quite subtle from what ive heard so far ________________________________________ ''Oh, it does handle like a golf!'' Why drive a Golf....when you can drive a GTi-6? |
