sounds like the lower engine mount could be knackared causing the engine to move back and forth, straining the connection.

Make sure the garage are fitting a genuine pug gasket(or fit it yourself). A genuine pug one costs barely any more than a motorfactors version.
I once fitted a cheap one to my mums 406 which died within a couple of months, after that brought a genuine pug one which was still on years later when the engine finally gave up.

Just a thought...

Even if the mounts shot, with the OE gasket it will be fine, Yes the factor parts don;t last 5 mins
