i have read through many threads this morning regarding cleaning ICV etc regarding hunting.
the car will rev 1000 -2000 rpm like clockwork (not straight away starting from cold, but within a few mins)
the ICV was cleaned very well and degreased, as well as every other inch / sensor in the engine bay.
we had the manifold off, and put it back on with a new standard gasket and sealent, could it be that this hasnt sealed correctly causing this, or the TB gasket.
all other threads state ICV needs cleaning, or possible the small pipe of the inlet which has cracked (will look after work) but before i have to take it to the garage and get bent over(no tools, and cant park the road i live on currently ) any one have any ideas? oddly enough it was perfect before the cleaning session!
