Finally got my head off today after my cam belt snapped. All together 6 valves or bent 4 exhaust and 2 inlet. I have noticed there are grooves in the tops of the pistons for the valves but on piston 2 they look a bit deeper. Will these be ok or is it likely to be shot? I can upload a pic but im not sure how if anyone can point me in the right direction. Thanks

hello local guy

from what i'm led to believe, slight battle scars on top of the piston are a norm. so know need to worry. unless big chunks taken out of the crown

it is adviseable to get all valves and guides done for peace of mind

i know of a decent non-tapper head for sale if your interested Wink

Clean up any sharp edges that may lead to a hot spot but apart from that they should be fine.
