when I drive my car and it gets chance to warm up generally in traffic on the way to work, it will start jolting when accelerating or even driving at a steady pace (kangaroo style)and becomes very irritating, it does this mainly in warmer weather and will not do it as much when it is cold or raining, I have had this problem now over a year and have spent about £300 on people fault finding to no avail.... any comments??? |

It sounds like one of your coils is on the way out. I had the same problem on my 97 gti6. Had it into Peugeot a few times and on the diagnostics but it did not show up anything. Buy a new coil and swap it in turn with all 4 coils until you find the one at fault________________________________________ Paul D |

Could be TPS mate depending how bad the jolting it, mine did the same whenever backing off the throttle, spent money getting mounts done and it was still doing it, changed TPS and all was okTry disconnecting the TPS and taking it for a drive, if it drives smooth, you'll know thats the culprit (you will notice power loss with it disconnected as it uses default values from the ECU) Hope this helps PS. TPS is located underneath the throttle body, youll have to remove the air pipe leading to the inlet manifold to get your hands underneath ________________________________________ Audi S3 Black Edition |
