It is pretty chavvy to be fair. My car come dewipered and with a MASSIVE exhaust.

I dont think its chavvy cause its sublte and just makes the back end look tidier. Its generally things such as heaping exhausts, sounds systems and lairy bodykits which make cars look chavvy

i would only remove the rear wiper if i had a ph3 tailgate without the strip along the bottom, that would make it look tidy. well i would think about it but no i probably wudnt do it.

you gonna do the fronts too? Smile

Oecken

I used one of these off ebay

Clickaroo

Used some old inner tube cut slightly smaller between the metal and the window, and sealed with some silicone sealant.

I also wrapped the Chrome outer section in carbon vinyl, but you could just paint it satin black or something

Paul And Jamma, did you just use a bung (the ones that can be pushed through if not glued, or the proper nut jobby?

I've currently got a gromit that's glued in very well. Just got the nut jobby above from eBay though, awaiting delivery Smile

I wonder if some one like Auto Glass can fill in the hole left over when u remover the wiper motor? Think that would tidy up the tailgate better than a gromet

That's a good idea. No c*nt will be breaking in with a coat hanger.

I just had a grommit in mine with some silicon for 18months and the same in my 106 for 2 years before that and never had this problem. TBH if someone really wants to get in your car they can whether or not you have a hole the size a five p in your back window. If anything they wont damage your car breaking into it the normal way.

Yeah if you want the little stub of the motor poking out the back window.

Its a 5 minute job removing the motor.

Tbh i dont think it makes it look any better or any worse with or without the rear wiper i've bought my 6 already de-wipered an i want to put a wiper back on it! In heavy rain the back wheels soak the window an its a pain in the arse then it drys looks awful an you cant see anything out of the window.

ive taken mine off as i dont use my car in the winter. so if it rains spring/summer time theres usually plenty of stuff on the glass to bead the water off. and as i drive a golf as well, which is 10 times worse for smearing crap up the back when its raining im toying with the idea of rear mud flaps for the winter months.

a grommit is fine, iirc there is f**k all space between the tailgate trim and the floor trim so getting something in there to pop the boot would be quite hard. (now questioning self so running outside to check boot!)LOL

I was planning on dewipering my Diablo (before it was written off) as it seemed to make things worse Crazy but also it was the phase 2 type so a bit unsitely imo, If it had been a phase 3 wiper It probably would have stayed either way.
