I finally dewipered my car on the weekend.

Had to hacksaw the wiper arm off as it was welded
on with rust

I think it looks so much better

I've never really seen the point in dewipering? I could understand it from a weight point of view, getting rid of the motor, but it doesnt really look much different in my opinion...

It makes a massive improvement if you actually look at it before and after doing it.

Not only that, my tired old tailgate struts can now lift the bootlid all the way up witht he weight of the motor absent.

Have to agree that de-wipering the rear of a 306 does look a bit smarter than having the wiper attached.

I did mine a month or two ago because mine didn't work, and I think it looks 10x better without the wiper Smile

I never needed to wipe the rear window. Even when it's raining I can still see out of it, you dont have side wipers for the passenger windowsRazz Also I clean my car at least once a week

Yep, never use the rear wiper anyway, rain-x does the job between the weekly washes.

Rear wiper ftw tbh, the 306 soaks it's own back window in heavy rain so i'd rather have the wiper thanks.

Dewipering is right up there with monowiper conversions for me.

hope their sole reason for pulling you wasnt because it was dewipered? as many cars come dewipered as standard. All 406 coupes for example do not even have a place for a rear wiper to go.

They pulled me over because I was going a ''bit fast''. I rewipered it so I can see what is behind me better.

Bloody hell its like being on Migweb back in the late 90's...

The boy racer ratio:
number of wipers : number of exhaust pipes

Ideally wants to be at least 1:4 Wink
