I've never really seen the point in dewipering? I could understand it from a weight point of view, getting rid of the motor, but it doesnt really look much different in my opinion...________________________________________ Rallye-RNurburgring article |

It makes a massive improvement if you actually look at it before and after doing it. Not only that, my tired old tailgate struts can now lift the bootlid all the way up witht he weight of the motor absent. |

Have to agree that de-wipering the rear of a 306 does look a bit smarter than having the wiper attached.I did mine a month or two ago because mine didn't work, and I think it looks 10x better without the wiper ________________________________________ JAMMA "M44YHW" MAYHEWLOSE WEIGHT NOW - ASK ME HOW - NUTRI-FIX GTi6 LPG, The best of both worlds! 2006: 1997 R reg 306 1.4 Miami - Diablo Red - DEAD 2007: 1999 V reg 306 1.4 Meridian - Diablo Red - SOLD 2007-09: 1998 S reg 306 GTi6 - Diablo Red - DEAD 2009-10: 1998 R reg Corsa 1.2 - Blue - SOLD 2010-13: 2001 Y reg 306 GTi6 LPG - Diablo Red - DEAD 2013 - 2013: 2000 X reg GTi6 LPG - Moonstone Blue - DEAD 2013 - current: 2001 X reg GTi6 LPG - Diablo Red ]FOR SALE[/b] "I LIVE FOR THE 306" |

Even when it's raining I can still see out of it, you dont have side wipers for the passenger windows Also I clean my car at least once a week stevevac43 wrote: i cant see the point in it myself,but i have to say you car looks superb jammamayhew spotless mate Thanks matey. ________________________________________ JAMMA "M44YHW" MAYHEWLOSE WEIGHT NOW - ASK ME HOW - NUTRI-FIX GTi6 LPG, The best of both worlds! 2006: 1997 R reg 306 1.4 Miami - Diablo Red - DEAD 2007: 1999 V reg 306 1.4 Meridian - Diablo Red - SOLD 2007-09: 1998 S reg 306 GTi6 - Diablo Red - DEAD 2009-10: 1998 R reg Corsa 1.2 - Blue - SOLD 2010-13: 2001 Y reg 306 GTi6 LPG - Diablo Red - DEAD 2013 - 2013: 2000 X reg GTi6 LPG - Moonstone Blue - DEAD 2013 - current: 2001 X reg GTi6 LPG - Diablo Red ]FOR SALE[/b] "I LIVE FOR THE 306" |

Rear wiper ftw tbh, the 306 soaks it's own back window in heavy rain so i'd rather have the wiper thanks.Dewipering is right up there with monowiper conversions for me. ________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |

All 406 coupes for example do not even have a place for a rear wiper to go. ________________________________________ 309 GTi6-T |
