Is it a common thing for these 6's to be heavily influenced by white lines, uneven tarmac, ruts n the like, on my local roads the volvo i had before was never bothered by it, but this thing really pulls at the steering wheel, even just cruisin, if it finds a line u better hold on... The car has had new front wishbones, ball joints, drop links... the car is resonably well behaved on flat roads... The rear axle is startin to knock abit these days while brakin hard... The car is running original height, dampers etc... Any suggestions would be welcome... cheers watto...

To be honest mate, the tracking does want resetting, i had the car tracked up when i bought it cos it was scrubbing tyres slightly, then i changed the wishbones and now it is slightly off centre... it has always wandered though, but that could hav been the bushes...

What size wheels / tyres / make of tyres / pressures?

Could be beam bearings/mounts or P bushes.

Never a good idea to mismatch them but I realise its not that easy. Is it the front wandering or the back?

Jack up each corner and see if you can make anything move. Check the hub pinch bolts are ok too as said above. Oh could be a top mount on the front too or possibly a snapped spring.

Mine's not bad on the rose joints tbh, it does occasionally have a squirm over catseyes/lines but nothing more than a twitch, even with the fast rack on, although I have lifted the rack slightly.
