Just for ground clearance like the front, or do you want more travel too?If it's just for clearance then the easy way is to put a spacer under the rear beam mountings and the bumpstops. You can wind the torsion bars around but you risk twisting them with extra travel and the shock loadings from a forest event. ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Ground clearance was the first priority - but if we can gain more travel as well that would be great - has anyone done this before and posted up a thread? |

What size torsion bars are you running? The smaller bars can cope with more twist than the larger ones, however, I think going by rule of thumb on torsion bars you'd be OK with around an inch more on standard bars without much trouble, 45* of twist should be fine, but you will fatigue them over time at that. Finding some more travel out of the damper will be the trick. ________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. Just have to knock them out and adjust the ride height as you would when lowering the car (guide in FAQ if you've never done it) - but obviously the other way around.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments. they're under some preload as standard at 330mm between damper eye bolts (20mm bars) I think the bolts don't go in till they're at 320 or so, which is nearly 30mm in ride height.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Yeah, hence needing to sort something out with the damper to get any extra travel.________________________________________ - Bespoke rollcages/additions/adjustments.
