15k is a lot for a weekend toy. i would be looking at a couple of TVR's myself and adequate money for fuel

then again that makes me a hypocrite as my 306 has cost me more than that over the years and is sat in my garage being used once a month, at a weekend

Hows about a 3 ltr v6 twin turbo in the boot, that could make 500 bhp easily.

Why mess with a package that handles so well out of the box?

I can see that costing 20-25k with a whole host of issues to solve.

Kitcar?

I'd go for some form of TVR myself as Rikky said though.

It's all well and good modifying a car over a period of time but in one go is madness IMO. You could get an M3 for that and have enough to supercharge it.

Hi,

You can get that sort of power with either S/C or turbo Yes

See the powergraph from my car below. This is 404 kW, or 542 BHP. The couldn't scale the graph with a figure of more than 500, hence it was done in kW.

PM me if you need and advice or parts…

Devil

Yeah, or a healthy 481 at the wheels Cool

I'm not running that much now mind, I de-tuned it for driveability / reliability.

I'm confident I could build 500 BHP S/C'd motor which is dead reliable.

Both me / Stan are running circa 450 BHP with no problems whatsoever Cool

2,1d crank is forged.

How much are you spending on the engine?
If I would spend 15k on a 306 i would get rid of the rear axle and make it rwd Wink
