Does anyone know what size tubing is needed to fit on the nipples to drain the fluid from them and where can you can buy them?

All of the tubes from my Eazibleed kit have disappeared since the last time I used it and I don't want to buy a complete new kit if I can avoid it.

I bought a reel of washer jet hose from Halfords, cost about £4 for 5 feet and seems to do the job nicely.

I usually just use the cheap tubes from a local motor factor, about £3-4 or so, they have a one way valve on the end, or a more expensive version at about £6 or so comes with a square pot.

The washer jet hose that they had in stock was of too small a diameter.

In the end I got some fuel line pipe from an independant car spares shop as it was closer than any aquatic centres that I could find. I will just have to watch for the bubbles in the fluid.

I used go-kart fuel hose, nice and soft and flexible.

SIMPLE.

get a jam jar, empty of course Wink

fill it half way with brake fluid.

get a pipe like one from a fish tank and tighten it up against the caliper nipple. put the other end in the jar making sure its at the bottom with brake fluid above it.

undo the bolt and get a friend to pump the brake. while you keep an eye on the resouvoir, making sure it does not go too low. look at jar as they push the pedal, if no air bubbles come out, job sorted.

the brake fluid already in the jar stops the brakes from sucking air back in, it will suck the brake fluid up between pumps on the brake Smile

f*ck paying for something so simple Smile

Thumbs up
