Thought it was about time I started a project thread as I have put bits and pieces in random threads so time to bring it together!

I don't expect it to be as impressive as some of the other project threads but everyone has to start somewhere! LOL

I have been slowly adding small modifications since buying my current Diablo PH2 6 last September and eventually plan to go down the supercharger route but haven't got around to anything concerning the engine yet, as there are plenty of other things to do first.

Prior to me owning it, unfortunately it had suffered some minor damage to one side after being scraped by a lorry driving past when it was parked up. (Didn't even stop!)

This was then fully repaired properly and the car mopped by pugplus who I bought the car from.

As it was when I got it, completely standard apart from lowered 40mm:

Ok so briefly what I have done since I bought the car.

Cyclones replaced with Speedline Turinis and PH3 Badges added all round as these were missing.

Standard exhaust removed and fitted a Scorpion cat back system and Magnex Decat Ninja

PH3 Clear side indicators and 8000k HID Kit:

Not much so far but that will do to start with Smile

More to follow. I am in the process of uprating all the speakers and adding 2x 12" subs in the boot. And a bit of a speaker fitment Diy.

I am also awaiting delivery of PH3 Crystal headlights which I will be fitting shortly and PH3 fogs as one of mine is broken at the moment.

Windscreen was also replaced today as was developing a nice large crack! Can't believe how nice new ones look with not a mark on it!

Thanks LOL

I got my PH3 lights today but eric fail at removing the grille / current lights.

Took me about 30mins to remove the stupid poppers on the grille that were stuck on.

Then finally got that off and went to remove the torx screws holding the current lights in. 4 out of 6 were rusted on and wouldn't budge, and I haven't got a drill here. Obviously haven't been taken off before so have had 12 years to weld themselves on!

Waste of time LOL

Oh and I managed to break one of the hockey stick clips Angry

Will have to wait until next week when I have a drill. Updates to follow!

Do you feel suited for a supercharged project thread given this? Whistle

LOL

Well once it's in it's too much hassle to take it out!

Shopping still fits! I have half the boot left, plus the whole inside too! Infact, I think my half a boot is probably bigger than my g/f's yaris!

Cheers, just wish I had some of your skills! Your project threads look far more interesting LOL

The last couple of days have been spent detailing the car. With pretty much the entire range of Poorboys World products. Check the Poorboys thread in Exterior for more info but here are the pics.

Next job is a quick service, touchup some stone chips and lacquer peel.

Then fit PH3 fog lights, PH3 black masked headlights and new hockey stick clips.

Also an induction kit and paint the brake calipers yellow.

This isn't a dig, I'm just curious. Have you ever been to the Ring mate? Or was that sticker from a previous owner?

Car looks bloody good in the last few pics btwThumbs up

It's not really much more than autoglym or meguairs. And it's definitely worth it.

I used 2 websites to buy it.
The Ultimate Finish who I found to be slightly cheaper on some of the products, but don't sell the entire range so had to get a few other bits from Detailed Obsession

Buying pretty much everything Poorboys sell cost me about £200. They come in massive bottles and will last ages though.

Thumbs up

When i used to own a sub/amp i had the car broken into and it was stolen, so devised something to stop my new equipment being stolen

with me being a electrician i had loads of various plugs/sockets etc.. hanging around

so i used one of these

screwed it onto the back of the seat and wired up a harness with a plug on from the amp, so could remove it on a night!

^^ nice idea!

Probably very useful if crime is a problem.

Luckily there is no crime whatsoever where I live so don't have to go to the trouble of taking it in and out every night LOL
