I wouldnt spend as little as that even on standard replacement dampers, let alone something that's intended as a sports upgrade.

3.5 times that will get you near to Bilstein B6/8 or Koni price, 5.5x will get you AST or KW ride height adjustables IIRC.

I cant speak for the suspension itself really but the company has a lot of feedback, and they (the suspension) apparently come with two years guarantee. Not bad for just under £160.

That's what I thought? Perhaps it'd be worth a gamble if I asked what the warranty actually covered?

Maybe they won't exist in 18 months time though...the warranty is only good if the company exists. I'd personally save up some more and get the eibach/B8 combo, but then it *might* be amazing value for money.

What do you want to do with your car? Track? Road? Mcdonalds?

standard peugeot replacements for that much.

btw, takes less balls to drive like a tool on the track than it does down a B road!

I used to own a set of these on one of my old 306's and they were fine:
eBay coilovers

In fact, I purchased a set for my GTi6 yesterday, comes with THREE years guarantee but I don't think I'm going to need it.

I wont be going on the track much, if at all so for your "normal" driving the above shouldn't be a problem.Cool

These are also adjustable, so you can set them up to how you wantNinja

Even if they have a long warranty, do you really want to be removing the shocks and sending them back (At your own expense) on a regular basis? Put the money towards something a little more well proven, paying to be someones guinea pig is'nt my idea of a bargain.

Agree, but I have already experienced this product and can confirm it's just as reliable as more expensive kitsCool

Reliability is nothing if they don't work for shit when they get hot like most cheap ass shocks. They do get hot surprisingly warm with road use as well. Then you've got lateral flex from the body, poor water/dirt sealing etc etc. I'm sure Phil could add to the list.

Then again these might be completely fine and amazing. I know i'd be buying a set of ASTs for £160 if I could find them!Smile

What rate spring do they have?

F*ck going into a corner hard with those LOL!

Allthough it would be interesting to see how good they actually are...

I've had a strut brace from hot-tuning which is identical to the OMP ones at twice the price!

Flex in the seals, probably be on shitty nylon or rubber piston seals rather than low friction teflon-bronze/PEEK/etc, the piston's probably going to be just a drilled hole with a valve on with no thought to flow path or cavitation, I'd put money on them not responding to small movements simply due to slack in the system, etc, etc...

And yes, they do get quite warm, I've got my old set in the garage and the paint's bubbled off from the heat LOL

Ok! I'll buy expensive ones! With 306s, isn't the rear a torsion bar anyway? so we're only buying two coils instead of 4? Shouldn't they be half price!!
