A full tank should see you 400 miles. Work back from that. Yours seems about right

you sure ash?

thats like 600 miles to a full tank Wink

£40/£1.15 a litre gets you 34 litres.

300miles = 34litres
530miles to a full tank Wink

thats pretty awesome if so Smile

nah, if you search on here (was a post recently iirc) then 280 is normal for fast driving. I used to get that but after longer journey i can see closer to 400

Change your green Coolant temperature sensor, that should improve your mpg.

More than likely your lambda sensor is faulty so the ecu runs at a pre-set air/fuel ratio which is quite rich instead of 14.7-1.

Mileage from mine has never been great to be honest, on a motorway journey i usually average about 34mpg and around town combined driving with some heavy footed incidents LOL i usually average 27ish mpg.
But saying that mine has a 2.5" straight through exhaust and k+n and its done 127k so cant expect miracles from it lol

that would be about 39mpg if you use the "on the clock" miles (speedo error usually means 5 to 8% high readings) so its about 37mpg which sounds right. Since i have had my VTS i have averaged 31.5 adjusted MPG.

Having only gone through 2 tank fulls so far I'm hardly an expert. But I've had 400+ miles out of both tank fuels, and my calculating website thingy (spritmonitor.de) says I'm getting 35mpg. happy with that!
