I was then due to meet up with Chris Harris, got myself a nice frock on, had my hair and makeup professionally done, and what does he do? Stands me up, the bas**rd. I hope you enjoyed staying late at work Christopher, you just missed out big time and will now never get to see the special panties I bought.

Great, so not only did I have to work late, I also missed out on what could of been the best night of my life Cry

Laugh my ass off

Luckily they had a pretty decent rollcage, just goes to show how worth it they are - the roof behind it was pretty folded up. I think they were a bit gutted to see the cage had bent too, so they can't even re-use that. As with our cars everything expensive is at the front, and that's what took the worst of it.

And yes Chris, you very much missed out. You could've met me in a field a few miles away when I really needed a p*ss as well, but didn't see you there either.

This batch of one? Hope you didn't pay for that professional service!?

Gutted for the 106, S1's are getting rarer by the minute

Heh no, me and a mate went along and did a load of which that is just one. And no, I did not pay. In fact he brought the beers we consumed the night before. I bought the pizza, by accident as I forgot to get the cash off him.

That clear it up for you?

Does it have a dent in the rear quarter panel?

Notice any difference changing to the Pro 1.2s?

Yup, has had since before I bought it. I think it adds character.

I guess you already had quite light 15" alloys beforehand, I'm trying to justify to myself that these wheels will serve 3 purposes of:

1. Looking cool
2. losing enough unsprung weight and improving handling enough to justify splashing out
3. getting around the fact that my infernal cyclones are FOREVER unbalanced!

(Reason #3 may be enough on it's own)

No. It is my friend now.

davewagon wrote:

In that case yes, go for it. I don't think they're any lighter than my 15's and are possibly heavier, but they're infinitely stronger and women throw themselves at me as I drive past.

Wtf? Why the hell would I want to do that?!

Hmm sounds a bit dangerous, not sure I can be bothered with that hassle

Having recently been to Rockingham to be stood up by Harris, I can confirm that Corby really is one of the dullest most soulless places I have ever had the misfortune of visiting.

Pow.

Yeah missus went to uni there, but Hatfield's different - it's a shithole full of students and fights. Corby doesn't even have anything that interesting.

Apart from the speedway, and some cracking county lanes. (and our wierd cube building thing)

My wee lady went uni in Hatfield too and it were crap, the only place to go was summit called the font/forum or St Albans which was generally better.

Yup, been there. Actually played a gig in the Font years ago when I was in a band, then later on met the girlfriend and she went to the Forum.

Still crap though.
