My best mate has a PH3 6.

The passenger side front spring has snapped. Best quote we have had so far is from Euro Car Parts at £34 for a spring. Question is does he need to replace both or is just doing the 1 ok? The car has done 96,000 miles. Also would aftermarket springs be better or would they upset the great handling of the 6?

Just change both and be done, the new spring will probably not be the same rate and length as the old one.
